Driven by the rapid development of mobile networks and smartphones, the 3 Mobile Lifestyle Store was designed with a focus on enhancing and simplifying human life. The store's design is a reflection of the modern customer's desire for a smarter, simplified, and relaxed lifestyle. This innovative approach to retail design has resulted in a space that is not just a store, but a lifestyle hub.
The store's unique design features contrasting colours of black and white stripes that traverse every corner. This, combined with a regular store layout and wide diagonal lines for the linear light bar and floor pattern, creates a contemporary style that highlights the brand colours. The use of wooden finishes adds a sense of harmony and simplicity, giving the store a modern edge.
The designers have also incorporated unique features to enhance the customer experience. The 3 Supreme customer service quarter, for example, was inspired by first-class aircraft seating. Noise-absorbing fabrics were used for partitioning, creating a high level of privacy. The back wall features layers of white 3D stripped glass light panels with stainless steel in gold, creating a simple yet elegant atmosphere.
Another innovative feature of the store is the enclosed workshop area. Surrounded by operable glass partitions, this space provides an area for smartphone tutorials for customers and further training for staff. When the partitions are opened, the space connects to the sales area, creating a multifunctional space that can accommodate up to 40 people for various events.
The project, which was completed in July 2019, posed several challenges. The designers had to create a space that combined a traditional sales area with new features such as the 3 Supreme customer service, the workshop, and a multifunctional business event space. Despite these challenges, the designers were successful in creating a seamless, efficient, and interactive service experience for customers.
The 3 Mobile Lifestyle Store's innovative design has not gone unnoticed. The project was awarded Silver in the A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2021, a testament to the designers' outstanding expertise and innovation. The store's design is a perfect example of how technology and lifestyle can be integrated to create a unique retail experience.
